Note, if you uses the in-game mod browser to download and install mods you don't need to exit game, it's only if you're using mod manager to do this you should exit the game before doing any changes. To not run into any problems it's safer to always fully exit the game before using a mod manager to install new mods or make changes to mod order or plugin load order.
